The Newfoundland Club

We had 18 A test entries, although 2 withdrew. Of those 15 passed, with 1 not quite ready. At Section B we had 28 entries – after 2 withdrew, we had 11 passes. Once again despite being the entry level tests, the opportunity to enjoy the lakes on the Sunday was again a major draw.
Rachel Saunders and Sara Davies were our A judges who then reverted to judging Section B as the 2nd B swim – whilst our main B Judges were Sue Sanders and Karen Thompson – all of whom did a fantastic job to get thro 42 tests in a day.

Thank you for inviting myself and Sara Davies to judge at this event. A lovely sunny day, very much on the warm side. Thank you for the hard work by all the stewards. 15 lovely passes and 1 not quiet there, 1 withdrawn.

We had 28 pre event entries Nd 2 withdrawals, two test areas were used and this certainly helped the smooth running of the day. It was a glorious July day and all the judges would like to thank all the entrants and stewards.

Karen and I judges 16 dogs - with 6 lovely passes and 10 dogs not quiet there today.

Many thanks to the Newfoundland Club for their hospitality, with frequent drinks for all the team and a very nice lunch.

 

Thank you to my co-judge for agreeing to help cover additional B entries. 9 entries, with 5 passes. Look forward to seeing those not quite there at future events where I'm sure they will have more success. A hot day but drinks were provided regularly, & were much appreciated.
