The Newfoundland Club

Great to be back at this lovely venue again, with a large grass area for the control section and direct access into the Forest of Dean for all the various levels of haul. A cold start to the morning with a frost but clear and sunny all day. Lovely to see entries at all levels and congratulations to everyone who passed, A lovely friendly atmosphere including an evening meal. Glad everyone enjoyed themselves.

Such a shame we only had two entries today, as the weather and the venue were lovely.

Both entries were steady and seemed to love working as a team with their handlers.

Beautiful day in the Forest of Dean for the tests. The venue was absolutely perfect for the draught teams to show their best. 

A small turn out on the day but the quality of the entrants made it a pleasure to judge the teams.

The two entries we had both passed with minimum points loss and both proved themselves capable of progressing onto level2.

There were 3 dogs but only one lovely pass. One dog got up at the group down stay causing an upset with another dog who unfortunately went on to fail.

We tested 2 dogs at this level, unfortunately 1 of the dogs got up on the stay element.

We went on a nice haul & both dogs did very well on some tricky sections.

On a beautiful frosty morning we had one entrant for level 4, Sadly the dog left the ring in the control section.
