The Newfoundland Club

I would like to thank everyone for making the trip over to Wales, we brought the sunshine out just for the occasion! The weekend had a reasonable turnout with some good passes; unusually, there were more B tests than A tests.
It was lovely to see a mixture of young and more experienced dogs working alone side their owners, especially witnessing the more colourful attempts at a controlled swim.
A special thanks to the stewards and judges that travelled and may not have attended test with us before, without them the weekend wouldn't have gone so smoothly.
Again a big thanks to The Newfoundland Club for allowing us to host the event and giving us the opportunity to test what our brilliant dogs can do!

We had 9 dogs present & 9 great passes. Its always a pleasure to have a range of ages and experience take part in these events.

Thanks to the NC and WNAG for asking me to judge and hosting the tests respectively 

I was asked to stand in for the second section of C entries, The quality of the teams was extremely good, young dogs showing some of the older ones how it's done.

Unfortunately all 3 failed for simple faults and all should pass next time.

Thanks to my fellow judges Jeff and Ronnie for their help and the stewards and members of WNAG for making the test so enjoyable.

 

Venue is very suitable for all tests with a gently sloping but rocky entry. Weather was warm and sunny. e only had one entrant on this occasion and they managed to pass 3 of the 4 elements.

All stewards and boat pilots performed they duties and they are thanked.

We would be happy to be invited back to Bryn Bach.
