The weather was a lot better than last year

It was lovely to see owners and dogs enjoying themselves and to see visitors who stopped to watch the event.

Thank you to the Newfoundland Club for inviting us to judge the beginners level at Bawsey. it was a lovely, but breezy day - at least the rain held off. There were a few distractions but all the dogs did really well. 12 entries in total including 1 brace team.  We had 11 lovely passes, unfortunately the sight of the water was too much for one.

4 entries at this level, Excellent down stay by all the dogs, Sadly one failed out of the 4 dogs entered.

Bawsey is a lovely venue for draught. Very enjoyable day.

A fine day, Very nice venue, We had 3 entries, one good pass, The other two did not quite make it the level this time, One did not complete the down stay, The other displayed a lack of control on the manoeuvring section, The main problem was tightening of the lead, All three dogs did the haul, and did very well and would have almost certainly passed.

Thank you for the invitation to judge, thanks to my co-judge Lynn Whiting and our call steward Vinny. Very nice venue and weather kind to us.

Only 2 entries with one failing in the control section. Handler and dog need to engage with each other more to comfortably get through the required elements, but was a good attempt. 2nd team went through to achieve a well deserved pass over testing terrain on the haul. Feed back was given to both handlers to aid future achievements. Thanks also to test manager Julie Roffe.

The team that passed have a good partnership, a good overall pass.
